Hello there — I’m T. L. Duncan, though most readers know me as the woman behind the shadows, the keys, and the candlelight.
I write stories that live in the quiet places between ruin and redemption. My worlds are filled with houses that breathe, women who rise, and ghosts—sometimes literal, sometimes emotional—who refuse to be forgotten.
I believe that magic is not separate from life but stitched through it: in ritual, in love, in grief, and in the courage to rebuild.

T. L. Duncan is an American gothic and spiritual author whose work bridges the line between sensual and sacred. Her fiction explores the beauty in ruin and the strength found in surrender; her nonfiction reveals the rituals, traditions, and creative practices that keep the soul lit from within.
Her completed series — Always Manor, The Surgeon’s Commandments, Magnolia Covenant, and Honoring the Wheel — laid the foundation for her expansive universe of gothic estates, divine houses, and haunted hearts.
Her current focus turns to new worlds and new Houses:

Magic, to me, is an act of remembrance.
Every book I write—whether it’s bound in ritual or romance—is part of that remembrance: of lineage, of voice, of what it means to create something lasting out of the ashes.
My creative world is woven in black, silver, and purple—colors that ground my work in shadow, elegance, and devotion. Every design, book cover, and ritual page reflects those hues of Always Manor.
